Ian Blurton, Songwriter for “Neglected”       For 15 years, Blurton led underground art-punk legends Change of Heart through relentless touring, a deal with Virgin/EMI and 7 full length LPs. His next band Blurtonia put out two records to much critical acclaim, and he now fronts power trio C’mon, featuring Nashville Pussy’s Katie Lynn on bass and Blurtonia’s Randy Curnew on drums. As an independent producer, Blurton has recorded and mixed dozens of bands including Tricky Woo, The Skydiggers, Nefarious, The Weakerthans, Tristan Psionic and The Exploders. Blurton has written and arranged over 1,000 songs throughout his career, including those for the soundtracks of three short films. He wrote, recorded and mixed the original tracks for the fictional band "Neglected" in GOLDIROCKS, and also mixed the live songs recorded by Sticky Rice, The Chickens, Cheerleadër and Robin Black and the IRS at Lee’s Palace during the shoot.
