The Chickens are Toronto rock legends who put on amazing live shows chock full of toe-tappin’ tunes. Most of them were in a band called U.I.C. in the 1980’s and rocked houses with such hits as “Leave me Alone”, which is featured in Goldirocks as well. Chickens guitarist Fred Robinson plays in four bands with songs in Goldirocks: The Chickens, U.I.C, Possum and Hannah. His son Taylor appears in the film as the kid who wants to buy Goldi’s guitar. New Chickens CD "Bring It On" hits stores May 18, 2004 and U.I.C's "The Wiseman Sessions" (recently re-discovered and including Goldirocks track "Leave Me Alone") is due out mid June, 2004. Cheerleadër (now Cheerleader666) could not be more rock if they tried. With loud guitars and dirty lyrics, black T-shirts and ripped jeans, they were also troopers when it came to acting. Frontmen Ethan Cawke and Cobra have more than a few scenes in the film. They act as badass as they look, postering over the hero band’s posters, and cheating on their girlfriends.
